World of Aetherion
Aetherion:
The Game: Set in a distant world of Aetherion, the game combines elements of multiplayer servers, RPG, survival, and building genres, offering a rich narrative and engaging gameplay.
Protagonist: You find yourself ejected forcibly from your clans settlement in the main hub city. This city is from the ruins of a great technological civilization. After "The Event", 95% of the planet's population died from starvation, destruction, disease and wildlife, and the survivors were not left with much to rebuild, except some old tech remnants and basic elements. 200 years later, the world consists of survivors, settlements with a clan style mentality and a leader for each settlement. Some settlements are in game built. Players can build a settlement with the correct blueprint, and are driven by the clan they form. Solo players can also build a fortress on both PVE and PVP servers.
As a survivor of your world and now a renegade and outcast from your previous clan, you must start from scratch, gather resources and supplies to build and upgrade your gear, weapons and plot of the map you claim for your fortress or settlement. Travel through various biomes of the map and discover the wilds of your planet. The player will be immersed in discovery, combat, lore, loot and rare loot containing NFT's for blueprints to craft items for use, trade or sell on the in-game auction house.
As you explore your world, you'll discover new friends to join, explore and fight together and share the loot on elite's. Treasures and loot are everywhere, so look high and low. Some maybe in plain sight, so in rather challenging areas. Some special tool blueprints can help you build tools to reach hard to reach places, above and below.
Crafting is one of the core game features, crafting will always be evolving as you discover new items and blueprints. Deconstruction of some items have a chance to give you a rare blueprint of that item. Blueprints can be traded, sold or used. Some will have unlimited use and some with only a few or one time use. Most resources such as wood, metals, ores, horticulture will be freely gathered in some way, or found in loot. Such as tree's, ore, crystals, etc. Looted crafting resources can consist of things only found in looted items or combat.
Building another core game feature will consist of many types, such as primitive campsites to large fortresses and settlements. Snap together parts, walls, etc., will be used for building custom buildings and whatever the imagination can explore. Other items such a looted decoration, trophies from world events or crafted, can be dropped anywhere inside your claimed areas.
Combat, it wouldn't be fun without some death. How you do it is up to you. Your choice of playstyle, all powerful in their own way. Mix and match, melee and ranged, or a fist. Skill trees and points will quickly give you more power over your enemies. World events will take a minimum of 3 players, with varying difficulty. The more players the better.
